Islamabad: Chief Minister Balochistan has met President Asif Ali Zardari in the President’s House.
According to the statement issued by the President’s House, the Chief Minister of Balochistan informed the President about the overall situation of the province and gave a briefing about the law and order situation.
The Chief Minister of Balochistan briefed the President on the ongoing development projects in the province for public welfare.
The President emphasized on the early completion of the projects for the development and prosperity of Balochistan and said that the early completion of the Kachhi Canal with the support of the federal government is necessary to meet the water needs of the province, promote agriculture and food security.
He said that the provincial government should take effective measures for the development and public prosperity of Balochistan. The President also expressed his satisfaction on the ongoing projects in the province and the measures taken by the provincial government for law and order.
