Apple recently removed the 3.5mm headphone jack adapter from the iPhone 7.
This iPhone 7 adapter allowed users to connect wired headphones and other audio devices to iPhones that did not have a headphone jack.
The move is listed as “sold out” on Apple’s online store in the US and other countries.
The 3.5mm headphone adapter was introduced with the iPhone 7 in 2016. The move allowed many users to use their existing wired headphones.
The adapter offered a simple solution that allowed users to continue using their wired headphones without having to switch to Bluetooth options.
The adapter gained further popularity in 2023 with the release of the iPhone 15, which was connected via USB-C
For years, this adapter was included with newer iPhone models, from the iPhone 7 to the iPhone XS.
