Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has said that America joined the Iran-Israel war because it felt that Iran would completely destroy the Zionist regime.
In his statement released on the social networking website X, the Iranian Supreme Leader said that he congratulates the nation on the victory against the Zionist state.
He wrote that amidst all this turmoil (war) and all these claims, the Zionist regime was practically overthrown and crushed in the attacks of the Islamic Republic.
Ayatollah Khamenei added that I congratulate our dear Iran on its victory over the American regime. The American regime directly entered the war because it felt that if this did not happen, the Zionist regime would be completely destroyed.
He said that America entered the war in an attempt to save the Zionist regime, but this move did not achieve anything.
He further wrote that the Islamic Republic has dealt a powerful slap in the face to America, Iran attacked and damaged Al-Udeid Air Base, one of the American bases in the region.
He said that the fact is that the Islamic Republic has access to important American bases in the region and can take action whenever it deems necessary.
Ayatollah Khamenei further said that such a retaliation could be repeated in the future, if any such aggression is carried out again in the future, the enemy will have to pay a heavy price.
