President Asif Ali Zardari will address a joint session of parliament today at the beginning of the new parliamentary year, tight security arrangements have been made for the session.
The Speaker and Chairman Senate will welcome President Asif Zardari on his arrival at Parliament House. Entry of guests will be banned in Parliament House.
The President’s address will cover various aspects of foreign affairs, politics, the country’s economy and public welfare. The President will address the parliament for the second time in less than a year.
The National Assembly Secretariat has completed all preparations and released a one-point agenda for the session. The second parliamentary year will begin with the President’s address.
