Reacting to the verdict in the 190 million pound case, Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has said that it has been happening in Pakistan that when anyone is nominated in a case, it has been an embarrassment to the world yesterday.
Talking to the media in Lahore, Aleema Khan said that the ATC came here in two cases on May 9 and October 5. We requested the judge to pronounce the verdict on this. Our lawyer presented his position.
She said that the prosecution and the investigation officer said that there is no file, give the date. We were arrested in Islamabad on October 4, so they put us in the case of October 5.
He said that it has been happening in Pakistan that when they nominate whoever they want in a case, yesterday they have been embarrassed in front of the world, we need a good response for the future that will provide protection and justice to the people, we all want reforms in this system.
Aleema Khan said that we meet our brother and bring his message, we all knew before that there had to be punishment in this, we knew better than the judge, this is not a case of 190 million pounds, this is the Al-Qadir case.
He said that 171 or 170 million pounds had come to Pakistan, these decisions come in writing and they are announced, give us a law degree, we have visited all the courts, a bribery case was made against the founder of PTI.
He said that the welfare institution was handed over to the government, we will go to the High Court against the punishment of the founder of PTI.
Hearing on interim bail in two cases of October 5 and May 9
Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore held a hearing on interim bail in two cases of October 5 and May 9 against the sisters of the founder of PT. Aleema Khanum and Uzma Khan appeared in the court along with their lawyers.
Alemi Khan and Uzma’s lawyer Rana Mudassar Umar Advocate gave arguments and took the position that the petitioners were in Islamabad on the day of the incident, they are the sisters of the founder of PTI, that is why a case was filed against them, the lawyer took the position that the court should order confirmation of the bails.
The prosecution sought time for arguments and said that we have been waiting since morning for the case, now you are talking about history, the investigation in the Jinnah House case is not yet complete.
The court summoned the prosecution for the next hearing on February 12 for arguments.
