Armed persons attacked Indian soldiers in Kishtwar district of Occupied Kashmir as a result of which one soldier was killed and 3 injured.
According to the Indian media, the Indian Army started a search process by setting up a blockade in Kishwan area of Kishtwar district of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, during which unknown armed persons attacked the soldiers.
It should be remembered that the Indian Army has started a military operation in this area since Thursday evening.
In the attack, one Indian Army officer and 3 personnel were seriously injured who were shifted to a nearby military hospital.
A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Indian Army succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a military hospital.
The Indian soldier killed in the attack has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, while the condition of one of the other 3 injured is said to be critical.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, while the Indian Army has yet to identify the attackers.
It should be noted that the series of attacks on security forces and non-locals has intensified since last month in Occupied Kashmir, in which more than a dozen people have been killed.
