Islamabad: PTI leader and former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser approached the Islamabad High Court to get the details of the cases.
Asad Qaiser took the position in the petition that there is a fear of arrest in a case which is not already known, so orders should be given to provide the details of the cases, inquiries or investigations registered across the country. Information about the cases registered in the police, NAB and FIA should be given.
According to the petitioner, PTI leadership and workers were picked up by filing false and baseless cases while hundreds of false political cases were also framed against the petitioner.
The PTI leader stated that the DIG Operation Islamabad was asked to give the details of the cases but the information was not provided.
In the petition on behalf of Asad Qaiser, the IGs of Islamabad and four provinces, Chief Commissioner, National Accountability Bureau and FIA have been made parties.
