KARACHI: The 5th International Textile and Leather Exhibition (TEXPO) at the Expo Center concluded with orders of $1.875 million for Pakistani textile products, signaling a positive development for the country’s export industry.
Organized by TADAP, the 3-day event attracted local and international delegates marking another milestone in promoting Pakistani textiles globally.
Pakistan Southern Africa Trade Federation (PSATF) led by Chairman Mohammad Rafiq Memon represented South Africa at the exhibition.
The PSATF delegation met TDAP CEO Zubair Motiwala, who highlighted the objectives of TEXPO, including the participation of major importers, exporters and trade delegates, as well as companies from Pakistan and abroad.
Zubair Motiwala also highlighted the role of TEXPO in strengthening Pakistan’s trade alliances, especially with markets like South Africa.
