Due to Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s protest, roads and mobile phone services in Rawalpindi and Islamabad remained closed for the third day due to which the citizens are facing severe problems.
Most of the business centers in Rawalpindi, Islamabad are closed, due to which the daily life is badly affected, while the online business is also severely affected due to the shutdown of mobile service and internet. Apart from this, the metro bus service is also suspended for the third day.
The link roads and streets coming from Murree Road are still sealed, there are obstructions in places from Liaquat Bagh to Faizabad, due to the closure of the roads, it has become difficult for patients to reach the hospital.
Regarding the mobile phone service, the authorities say that the mobile phone service will be officially restored in some time.
