Mumbai: India’s legendary singer Kumar Sanu has denied singing for PTI founder Imran Khan.
Kumar Sanu issued a clarification post on his official Instagram handle in which he said that I have never sung any song for Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the audio circulating on social media platform Facebook is not my voice but That voice is created using artificial intelligence (AI).
“Some people are trying to defame me, so I want to tell my fans that the news about the song is fake and false,” the singer said.
He appealed to the Indian government and added that this is a serious and misuse of technology, I request you to take immediate action to stop the misuse of AI and deepfake technology.
It should be noted that recently a video went viral on social media in which Kumar Sanu was shown singing a song at a concert for the release of Imran Khan, the audio of the said video was produced with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
