ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that more than 10 crore saplings will be planted across the country during the monsoon season, trees will clean the climate, reduce the effects of climate change and increase natural beauty.
The Prime Minister today started the plantation campaign by planting saplings in the green garden of the Prime Minister House. On this occasion, a briefing was given to the Prime Minister regarding the plantation campaign, in which the Prime Minister was informed that two billion 20 crore saplings have been planted in June 2024.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that today we are starting the monsoon plantation campaign, during this plantation ten million saplings will be planted across the country, this will not only make Pakistan beautiful but also climate change. It will also help control what hit Pakistan badly in 2022, reducing air pollution and enhancing natural beauty.
The Prime Minister said that this Monsoon season is a heart-warming season in which smiles are scattered everywhere, rains reduce the intensity of heat.
