Riyadh: Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals by defeating India in the quarter-finals of the Asian Team Snooker Championship.
National cueists Asjad Iqbal and Owais Munir defeated the rival team India by a three-zero frame in the Asian Team Snooker Championship held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan’s winning scores were 35-63, 22-75 and 06-70. The Bharat 2 team consisted of Saru Kothari and Hussain Khan.
The Pakistani snooker team will compete against Hong Kong in the semi-finals.
Earlier Pakistan’s Owais Munir won the Asian 6 Red Snooker Championship.
