The verdict on the petition for suspension of sentence in the Idat Nikah case of Anipti and Bushra Bibi will be pronounced today.
Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Majuka will pronounce the verdict on the pleas for suspension of sentence at 3:00 PM.
On November 25, 2023, Khawar Maneka filed a complaint in the court of Civil Judge Qudratullah. Khawar Maneka filed an application under Penal Code Section 34, 496, 496B. Bushra Bibi was charged.
After a 14-hour hearing in Adiala Jail, the trial court reserved its verdict on February 2. On February 3, the court sentenced the founder of PTI, Bushra Bibi, to 7 years in prison.
Earlier, the case was also heard by Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjamand, on the grounds of no confidence and on the judge’s request, the High Court transferred the case to Judge Afzal Majuka.
Advocates Salman Safdar, Salman Akram Raja, Usman Gill argued on behalf of Founder PTI, Bushra Bibi, Advocate Zahid Asif opposed the appeal on behalf of Khawar Manika.

The statements of Saeed, Aun Chaudhry, Khawar Manika are based on lies, the woman’s statement regarding Idda is sufficient.
The complainant’s lawyer Zahid Asif said that where is Bushra Bibi’s statement regarding the completion of Idda? Bushra Bibi was present in the court room when the charges were filed, no retired man can clash with the prime minister, decent people try not to make the domestic matters public.
