Islamabad: 16 development projects are expected in the country next year with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), while work is underway on 7 development projects with the support of the Asian Development Bank.
According to sources, ADB’s $200 million project is expected to modernize Pakistan’s electricity transmission system.
The project for installing smart meters for discos will be approved, and ADB’s assistance for digitalization in the FBR will improve tax reforms.
