California: The video streaming platform has announced a number of new features for YouTube shorts, some of which are available to users now.
Available features include text-to-speech video narration feature that will help users add artificial voice-overs to videos. This feature resembles Tik Tok’s robotic voices that are commonly heard in videos.
The process of adding these voiceovers to a video is also very similar to Tik Tok. Currently YouTube offers only four voices for voice over while Tik Tok has slightly more.
YouTube says that the company is also going to release a feature of auto-generated captions, using which the user will not need any other app like CapKit.
The company has also added Minecraft effects for users.
