MUMBAI: Indian actress Shruti Haasan was furious over the delay of 4 hours by private airline IndiGo without any notification.
Shruti Haasan has posted on the social networking website expressing her anger at the Indian private airline IndiGo, in which she is criticizing the organization.
The actress said that if the flight was delayed for any reason, the airline should have updated the passengers, and any method could have been adopted for that. I and other passengers were stuck at the airport for four hours.
She further wrote in her post that I usually don’t complain like this, but today the airline created chaos among people. We have been stuck at the airport for four hours without any information.
The post of the actress would instantly go viral on social media after which the airline company’s customer service had to explain.
In an explanatory reply to Shruti Haasan’s post, the airline said the delay was due to bad weather in Mumbai, which is affecting the arrival of operating aircraft.
The Indian private airline added, “Ms. Shruti Haasan, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused by the flight delay. We understand how painful it can be if the wait is prolonged.”
