While giving a press conference in Karachi, he said that there is more electricity in Pakistan, instead of causing pain to the people by blocking the road, we told the government the solution. We want uniform price of electricity across the country.
Mustafa Kamal said that instead of Nawaz Sharif, the press conference should have been held by the Prime Minister for the entire country. Relief only for Punjab, other provinces are not part of Pakistan? It is hoped that the Prime Minister will announce a reduction in the price of electricity for the entire country.
The MQM leader said that Pakistan will become bankrupt if the issue of electricity is not taken seriously. This year 1700 billion rupees were kept only to cover the losses. Manufacturers say to provide electricity for 6 to 9 cents, currently it is 16 cents.
He added that Karachi accounts for more than 65 to 70 percent of Pakistan’s budget. We are only talking about reducing the price of electricity for the country of Karachi, the price of electricity in the country should be reduced by 20 rupees per unit.
