Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has revealed why he chose the controversial blockbuster film ‘Animal’.
In a recent podcast, the actor said that he decided to do Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s film to break out of the ‘good boy’ image.
Talking about the criticism of the film on this occasion, Ranbir Kapoor said that films are not meant to teach morals, they are only meant to entertain.
The actor added that social media has changed the environment and people need something to talk about, that’s why the film was popularized as anti-women.
Ranbir Kapoor said that he does not discuss his films with people, if someone does not like his work, he apologizes.
It should be noted that the film directed by Sandeep Reddy Wanga also featured Rashmika Mandana, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Tripathi Dumri.
