Beirut: Naeem Qassem, the interim head of Hezbollah after the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli attack, delivered his first speech via video link.
According to the international news agency, the deputy head of Hezbollah, Naeem Qasim, said that with the blessing of America, Israel is massacring civilians in Lebanon. We are ready to counter Israeli attacks.
Naeem Qasim said that incidents like pager attacks, walkie-talkie attacks and then the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah would have ended if they were with any other organization, but Hezbollah is a party that loves martyrdom and all kinds of sacrifices and sufferings. Despite this, it will continue to fight against Israel.
Hezbollah’s interim chief added that Israel will continue to fight aggression in support of Palestine and Gaza and in defense of its Lebanese people. We are moving forward because we have hope and we have complete trust in Allah Ta’ala. We are people of jihad. Therefore victory will be ours.
The Hezbollah chief added that while Israel prides itself on its ability to reach and target secret sites, just one of our missiles forced large numbers of Israelis to flee their homes.
Regarding the election of the new head of Hezbollah, Naeem Qasim said that based on the current procedure, the new head will be chosen soon.
It should be remembered that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was martyred in an Israeli attack 3 days ago, after which his deputy Naeem Qasim is serving as the interim leader.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health says 105 people have been killed in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours, while army jets continue to bombard the country.
