Mumbai: Bollywood actor Vijay Varma has revealed that he is suffering from vitiligo, a skin disease that causes white patches on the skin.
Speaking to Indian media, Vijay Varma said that he hides his vitiligo in films so that the audience focuses on his acting rather than his skin.
He said that covering up vitiligo is necessary only for film roles, but he never bothered to cover it up at public events.
Verma said that vitiligo was a concern in the early days of his career, but it was no longer a problem after he achieved success.
Vijay Varma will soon be seen in the Netflix series “IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack”, in which he will play Captain Devi Sharan, the pilot of the 1999 hijacked flight.
