Bogota: Israel uses coal imported from Colombia in the preparation of the bomb it drops on Gaza, after which Colombia stopped exporting coal.
According to the World News Agency, Colombian President Gustavo Pietro says that the coal bought from us was used by Israel in the bombs that killed Palestinian children. It is unbearable.
Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced that his country would no longer export coal to Israel because of its use in bombs.
It should be noted that Israel imports 50% of its coal needs from Colombia and in the first 8 months of last year, it bought $320 million worth of coal from Colombia.
However, Colombia has refused to supply more coal to Israel, its largest coal buyer.
Recall that Colombia cut coal exports in June, but has now completely cut off supplies after Israel refused to budge.
Earlier, Colombia severed diplomatic relations with Israel over the bombing of Gaza and declared Israeli atrocities in Gaza as genocide and holocaust.
