US President-elect Donald Trump has named Indian-American businessman Sriram Krishnan as the White House’s senior policy advisor on artificial intelligence.
According to a report by the Indian news agency India Today, Sriram Krishnan has an impressive background in technology and will work with White House and cryptocurrency watchdog David Sachs to develop and coordinate policy on artificial intelligence in Donald Trump’s administration.
In a message on the social networking website Truth Social, Donald Trump said that Sriram Krishnan will focus on ensuring continued American leadership in AI and will work with the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology and help shape and coordinate the government’s AI policy.
