London: 24 accused of sexually assaulting young girls on different occasions in the United Kingdom were sentenced to a total of 346 years in prison.
According to the British news agency, 42-year-old Khurram Raziq was sentenced to 22 years, 46-year-old Nasir Hussain 18 years, 44-year-old Zafar Qayyum 30 years, 47-year-old Ansar Qayyum 20 years, 43-year-old Muhammad Jabbar Qayyum 13 years. 45-year-old Muhammad Imranzada 15 years, 37-year-old Michael Birkenshaw 8 years, 40-year-old Imran Mehrban 13 years, 38-year-old Sarkot Yasin 15 years, 48-year-old Muhammad Salim Nasir 19 years, 37-year-old Irfan Khan 12 years 39-year-old Umar Farooq Hussain 18 years, 40-year-old Sarfaraz Hussain Riaz 15 years, 38-year-old Zafar Iqbal 17 years, 38-year-old Nasir Iqbal 10 years, 47-year-old Muhammad 17 years, 42-year-old Bilal Patel 13 years, 53-year-old Asif Ali was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
Similarly, 39-year-old Muhammad Tauseef Hanif was sentenced to 9 and a half years, 38-year-old Ali Shah was sentenced to 10 years, 38-year-old Moshin Nidat was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years, 49-year-old Sarfraz Meeraf was sentenced to four and a half years, 38-year-old Muhammad Nizam Nasir was sentenced to seven years and 45-year-old Amir Ali Hussain was sentenced to eight years in prison.
The suspects were found guilty of sexually abusing, abusing and trafficking a number of young girls in West Yorkshire between 1999 and 2012.
The case originated with the arrests of these accused in 2018 during the investigation of the sexual abuse of 8 girls. During the investigation, the entire network of the accused was caught and incidents of sexual abuse of other girls were also reported.
