Islamabad: The accountability court has issued a warrant for the release of PTI founder Bushra Bibi’s wife in the Toshakhana Case Two.
Yesterday, the Islamabad High Court approved the bail application of Bushra Bibi in the Tosha Khana Case Two. However, due to the non-availability of Senior Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjamand and the departure of Special Judge Central Number Two Humayun Dilawar, the release of Bushra Bibi could not be carried out.
PTI lawyers kept going from one court to another court for a plea. But they were not successful.
Bushra Bibi’s lawyers Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry and Khadija Siddiqui also knocked on the door of the administrative judge Raja Jawad Abbas’s court. But they too had left the courtroom.
Later, the lawyers of Bushra Bibi requested the court of Sessions Judge West to issue the warrant. But the court staff said that the name of Sessions Judge West is not included in the list of duty judges of Special Judge Central.
