Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the package of 23 billion rupees for Azad Kashmir is not a favor but our duty.
Shahbaz Sharif while addressing the Cabinet of Azad Jammu and Kashmir said that the last few days were very worrying, a movement was going on, in which some people were doing their duty in a democratic manner for their legitimate demands.
He said that some miscreants were also involved in this movement, whose aim was vandalism, loss of human lives and arson in Azad Kashmir, as a result of which a policeman and some citizens were killed, which was condemned as much as possible. The government has announced a Shahada package for the deceased, which will be delivered to them immediately.
The Prime Minister said that I am grateful to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and all others who gave the best advice at this critical stage and we resolved the matter in time and agreed to their demands without delay and approved a package of 23 billion rupees. This is not our favor to you, but it is our duty, both Pakistanis and Kashmiris have always showered flowers of love on each other.
Shahbaz Sharif further said that the IMF team has come to Pakistan on a visit, due to which the energy minister and the secretary are busy there. Give it so that we can discuss the pending issues and solve the issues on a permanent basis so that such an incident does not happen again until the Day of Resurrection.
