Islamabad High Court has issued a written order to hear the case of missing Baloch students. In the 4-page order written by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, it was said that the Attorney General assured the court that every person who was handed over He is accused of missing from, he will definitely reach his family.
The order said that the Attorney General told the court that there have always been discussions at the highest level to resolve the issue of missing persons.
It said that the committee consisting of ministers on enforced disappearances has prepared recommendations, after the approval of the cabinet, the recommendations will be submitted to the court.
According to the decree, the Attorney General is of the view that the problem of missing persons requires a political solution.
Amending the old order of the Committee on Enforced Disappearances comprising DGs of secret agencies, ISI, MI and IB can appoint their second-highest level officers as members of the committee, the order said. That FIA and CTD officials may also be included.
According to the order, the petitioner lawyer Iman Mazari has given the list of 3 missing students to the Attorney General, expecting that the court will be informed about these 3 missing persons at the next hearing.
