Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Muslims of Palestine and Lebanon will not be left alone in their troubles.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif regarding the aid sent by Pakistan to Palestine and Lebanon. The Prime Minister said that history is a witness that the main reason for the world wars in the 20th century was the silence of the world powers on such conflicts. Day by day increasing Israeli aggression is engulfing the entire region. World powers should immediately stop Israel from genocide of innocent people.
He said that along with the government’s actions, the public is also requested to help their Palestinian brothers and sisters. The government of Pakistan has established a relief fund to help the Palestinians and Lebanese victims of Zionist oppression and tyranny. The Muslims of Palestine and Lebanon will not be left alone in trouble. The people of Pakistan, especially the rich people, should actively contribute to this fund.
Shahbaz Sharif added that Pakistan will soon send 3,000 more tents and 12,000 blankets to the Muslim brothers and sisters who are victims of Israeli aggression in Palestine and Lebanon for the winter, while food items and medicines are also being sent. Israel’s obstruction of aid to the Palestinians is alarming and condemnable. Pakistani ambassadors in the neighboring countries of Palestine and Lebanon should play their effective role in speeding up and ensuring the delivery of goods sent by Pakistan.
