KARACHI: The price of gold increased further in the global and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $19 per ounce to settle at a new level of $2,458.
On the other hand, the price of 24 karat gold per tola rose by Rs 1,200 to Rs 257,700 in the local bullion markets on Tuesday, and similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams increased by Rs 1,029 to Rs 220,936.
In contrast to the rise in gold prices, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 2850 and the price of silver per 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs 2443.41.
It should be noted that the price of gold in the global market increased by 9 dollars per ounce yesterday, but the gold prices were stable at the local level.
