Peshawar:The Ministry of Law and Justice issued a notification to increase the number of judges with the approval of President Asif Ali Zardari. According to which, the number of judges including the Chief Justice in Peshawar High Court has been increased from 20 to 30.
On the other hand, a bill to increase the number of Supreme Court judges was also presented in the National Assembly.
It should be noted that the number of judges has been proposed to be increased to 23 in the government member’s bill, the bill was delayed due to the opposition of the opposition.
