Islamabad: The session of the National Assembly was convened yesterday, while the joint session of the Parliament will be held on April 18. President Asif Zardari will address the joint session.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has convened the meeting of the National Assembly at five o’clock tomorrow evening on the requisition of the opposition parties. The agenda given by the opposition will be discussed in the meeting.
On the other hand, the joint session of the Parliament has been rescheduled, according to the sources of parliamentary affairs, the joint session of the Parliament will be held on April 18 instead of Tuesday, April 16.
President Asif Zardari will address the joint session of the Parliament, after which the new parliamentary year will begin.
Meanwhile, President Asif Zardari’s daughter Asifa Bhutto Zardari will officially start parliamentary politics by taking oath as a member of the National Assembly.
