ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the Election Commission regarding giving specific seats to Tehreek-e-Insaf ended without result on the fifth day as well.
According to sources, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, in which Election Commission members, officials and legal team participated.
Even today, the Election Commission could not decide to implement the decision of the Supreme Court. The advisory meeting has been called again tomorrow by the Election Commission.
The Election Commission has also decided to review the detailed decision of the Supreme Court, while the legal team was instructed to prepare a detailed briefing after receiving the detailed decision.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court had ordered to give certain seats to Tehreek-e-Insaf.
