Mumbai: Hindu extremists have threatened to stop the release of Pakistan’s most successful film The Legend of Maula Jatt in India.
According to Indian media, Hindu extremist party Nav Nariman Sena has threatened that Pakistani films will not be released in India and Pakistani actors will not be allowed to act in Indian films.
Nonariman Sena leader Amiya Kopkar said in a threatening statement that those who like actor Fawad Khan are Indian traitors. An Indian film company’s announcement to release a Pakistani film in India is provocative. Our leader Raj Thackeray has ordered that the Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt should not be released in India and we will follow his order. Raj Thackeray is the nephew of Pakistan and Muslim enemy Bal Thackeray.
Pakistan’s most successful film, The Legend of Maula Jatt, featuring the star cast of Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Hamaima Malik, will be released in Indian theaters from October 2. Fawad Khan’s 2022 film The Legend of Maula Jatt is a remake of the 1979 hit film Maula Jatt .
