LAHORE: Senior Punjab Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that the first application for relief under the new NAB law has been filed by the May 9 convict, who claims that the law is designed to protect thieves.
In a statement issued from Lahore, Maryam Aurangzeb added that there is no forgiveness for the crime of planning and attacking the state. Whether the beggar of NRO holds a rally, cries or shouts, he will be punished.
Maryam Aurangzeb raised the question that those who declared the NAB law as “the law of thieves”, why did they themselves first apply for relief?
Maryam Aurangzeb said that this man, who is a thief of watches and wallets and a criminal of 190 million pounds, wants to run away with “NRO” under the guise of smearing others. This person begs NRO every day but does not account for his crime.
The senior minister further said that those who were called thieves, were the victims of his cruelty while he answered every accusation, served jail time and faced the courts, but did not beg for the NRO. .
