Michigan: America’s leading media network has said it will host the first debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris on September 10.
The network confirmed in a post on X that Trump said Thursday he was willing to debate his Democratic rival several times before the November election.
Kamala Harris also confirmed that she would attend the debate during an event in Michigan and later said she would be open to more debates.
The network says the discussion will be moderated by World News Tonight anchor and managing editor David Peacock and anchor Lynsey Davis.
It should be noted that Republican candidate Trump once debated President Joe Biden in June.
The two were scheduled to do it again on September 10, but after a disappointing performance against Trump in a televised debate, Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race, paving the way for Kamala Harris to become the Democratic nominee.
