Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the people who made the cases, the former NAB chairman will have to be held accountable, the court will take a decision to avoid false cases in the future. The Islamabad case has also been withdrawn, unless there is a major administrative change in this country, there is no hope for good, NAB has only caused the destruction of the country’s economy.
He said that a political party is not formed in a day, by next month the political party will come into existence, people from all over Pakistan will join us, people are saying that the election is stolen.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Bajwa Sahib talked about hybrid government, there is no space for hybrid government in the constitution, the country will not run unless the system is changed on a large scale, no action has ever been taken against breaking the constitution. Going back to 1947, the government does not have a public mandate.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the present government has also come from the same path as Chairman PTI. Political parties are formed before elections to achieve specific objectives. The parties have left, the competent people will have to be empowered to solve the country’s problems, the political parties have taken the path to power.
Earlier, a NAB reference hearing against the appointment of MDPSO was held in front of the accountability court in Karachi’s Clifton area. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and others appeared in the court. The court inquired whether financial benefits were obtained on behalf of the accused. Prosecutor NAB stated that no financial benefits have been obtained from the accused.
Lawyer Safi Khawaja Naveed gave a stand and said that we did not have the powers, so there is no question of using it illegally. The court asked the prosecutor to satisfy the court about the accused receiving financial benefits. The court remarked that the NAB people also want to run the same case in which they have their own benefit. In order to run the reference, it is necessary to prove that the accused have received financial benefits
The court said that if this case is not of NAB, then in which court will it go? Prosecutor NAB inform about this in future. The court sought a response from NAB. The court adjourned the hearing till July 2.
