Former Indian cricketer and commentator Muhammad Kaif has predicted the top four teams for the T20 World Cup.
Speaking to the local news agency, former cricketer and commentator Muhammad Kaif said that apart from India, New Zealand, West Indies, Australia or Pakistan have the ability to make it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
He said that the New Zealand team has been playing well in ICC events, you cannot take them out of the top four, while the West is playing at their home ground, so they will have the advantage of the conditions.
Muhammad Kaif said that I don’t know who will make their place for the semis from Pakistan or Australia, but if Pakistan meets somewhere in the semis or finals, what could be better than a Pakistan-India match.
He said the current squad is stronger than the one that reached the semi-finals in the 2022 World Cup in Australia, with a good combination of spinners and fast bowlers capable of beating the world’s biggest teams.
It should be noted that the tournament will start from June 1 in America and West Indies, the top 2 teams of Group A Pakistan and India will compete against each other on June 9 in Newark.
On the other hand, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule of warm-up matches before the T20 World Cup, in which 17 teams will participate, while teams from Pakistan, England and South Africa will not be part of these matches.
