National team opener Imam-ul-Haq came out in support of his friend after a fan mocked Babar Azam in the T20 series against Australia.
Babar Azam, who is suffering from poor form, failed to perform well in the T20 series during the tour of Australia, such critics do not miss any opportunity to troll him.
During the second T20 match against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground, a spectator addressed Babar Azam inappropriately and said that you have no place in T20, go back, to which Babar did not give him any reply, but was staring at him with a frown, the video of which went viral on social media.
On the viral clip, Imam-ul-Haq took to Instagram and expressed his disappointment over the fan’s behavior with the star cricketer. Imam shared the video and wrote, “We have failed as a nation at this time, you are still the champion, Babs!”.
It should be noted that Pakistan made history in the ODI series during their tour of Australia, winning the series after 22 years, but they suffered a clean sweep defeat at the hands of the Kangaroos in the T20 series.
