Special Communications Organization (SCO) is proud to announce the launch of a new Freelancing Hub in Tatta Pani Koniyan, near Line of Control. This initiative aims to equip the local youth in this underserved region with necessary resources and opportunities to promote positive engagement and economic empowerment through development of their digital skills.The Freelancing Hub, managed by SCO, is equipped with high-speed internet, modern computers and wide ranging IT facilities. It will enable local youth to access global freelancing platforms, enhance their digital skills and earn a sustainable income from the comfort of their community.
This project reflects SCO’s commitment to creating an environment where the youth of Tatta Pani Koonian can engage in constructive activities and contribute positively to the economy.Major General Umar Ahmad Shah (DG SCO) while inaugurating the hub, emphasized that launch of this Freelancing Hub marks a significant step in uplifting the youth of Tatta Pani Koiynian and surrounding areas. He noted that by equipping them with the necessary tools and training, the initiative aims to open doors to global earning opportunities and empower them to make a lasting impact in their community and beyond. He further added that this effort is not just about technology but about building a brighter future for the youth.The Freelancing Hub is part of SCO’s broader strategy to develop IT infrastructure and promote digital literacy in remote and underserved regions of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. By introducing modern technology and providing training in these areas, SCO is creating avenues for young people to engage in productive and profitable activities, thereby reducing unemployment and fostering a culture of innovation and self-reliance.
