Lahore: Two studies published in the scientific journal “Nature” have revealed that the material that gave birth to life on Earth came from space, the Lord of the Universe had already hinted at this in the Holy Quran 14 hundred years ago.
The American organization NASA had sent a spacecraft to bring soil from the near-Earth asteroid “Bennu”. This soil reached Earth in 2023 and was sent to 66 scientists spread across four continents.
Now their research has revealed that, apart from water, the soil contains all the organic compounds, minerals and salts that give birth to life, and also most of the amino acids that make up DNA.
This discovery stunned experts. Scientists say that it is highly likely that the material for life came from other stars and astronomical bodies in space on Bennu and all the asteroids and planets in the solar system.
Allah Almighty has pointed to this in Surah Al-A’raf verse 185, which means: “Does not man see what Allah Almighty has created in the heavens and the earth and what is between them?”
It is as if man is being told that Allah Almighty is capable of giving birth to life anywhere and in every way in the universe. Understand this immortal truth and believe in your Creator.
Experts also found compounds in the soil of Bennu that were not previously present on Earth or any other asteroid.
Remember, Bennu, with a diameter of 490 meters, is so close to Earth that it is feared that it may collide with the planet around 2182 and cause significant destruction.
