Based on the secret information received, the team formed in this regard by the Customs Intelligence Karachi continued to monitor the 14 ton black tea container cleared through the Port Qasim Collectorate.
Instead of going to Azad Kashmir, the container of tea cleared by the Customs Department at concessional tariff was unloaded at Bismillah Godown, Hawke’s Bay Road, Maripur, Karachi, on which the team immediately cracked down on the warehouses of the said areas. , which resulted in the recovery of another 530 tons of black tea.
