The administration informed the Lahore High Court that PTI founders’ food is cooked in a separate kitchen under special rules, and they are provided healthy food, which is prepared under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Jails, whose medical Officers and Deputy Superintendents also conduct inspections.
The report states that apart from the jail medical officer, 6 medical officers from Rawalpindi Holy Family Hospital are deployed for the medical treatment of Bani PTI, a team of specialist doctors from other hospitals visit the jail every week and if necessary It also checks up.
The report also stated that PTI founders have been provided a special space in the jail for walking while exercise machines and other equipment have been provided. Apart from this, important rules and regulations have been made for those who come to meet founder PTI. During the prison trial of founder PTI, a comprehensive security plan is implemented.
Jail police, rangers, district police are performing duties for the security of Adiala Jail while search operations are conducted to keep the jail and surrounding areas clear, mock drills were also conducted for the security of founder PTI and all the prisoners in the jail.
