The Peshawar High Court has issued orders to the SHO Hayatabad to conduct an investigation on the petition filed for the recovery of the missing 4 brothers.

When the hearing of the case started, the Federal Special Secretary Interior and Additional Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other officials appeared in the court.

The court was told that 4 members of the Alkozai family are missing from Hayatabad and despite the passage of many months, they are still missing.

Justice Ijaz Anwar remarked that there is no independent institution in the country, NADRA has closed its eyes, make the police independent because if the police is not independent, the situation will not improve, empower the police so that they do not follow anyone’s instructions. It has been more than three months but the investigation has not been completed yet, people start crying in front of us, what should the court do?

The Additional Attorney General told the court that a brother of Alkozi brothers was involved in the kidnapping and should be arrested, while the petitioner’s lawyer told the court that the SHO of the police station in which the case took place was not investigated by the JIT. On which Justice Ejaz Anwar said that the SHO of Hayatabad Police Station denied that he had no knowledge.

The petitioner’s lawyer told the court that the SHO’s car can be seen in the CCTV footage, on which Justice Ijaz Anwar asked the investigating officer that you have investigated the SHO?

The investigating officer told the court that the vehicle was not seen in the two videos given to me, on which the court directed that the investigating officer be provided with the video and the SHO should be investigated.
