Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi court, while dismissing the terrorism charge in the case of stoning of pictures of political leaders on the eve of Independence Day, also refused to grant physical remand to nine PTI workers.
The Rawalpindi court heard the case of stone pelting on pictures of political leaders on the eve of Independence Day. The hearing of the case was held in front of Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of the Special Anti-Terrorism Court.
The court dismissed Section 7 ATA of terrorism charged in the case and also rejected the request for physical remand of 9 arrested PTI workers.
The court transferred the case to the court of Civil Judge Murree for hearing, after which the Murree police took all the arrested 9 activists Umar Farooq back to Murree.
