Rawalpindi: To stop the PTI protests, the authorities have issued strict orders to the police to deal with the protesters.
More than 4,500 police force has been deployed to stop the protest. In this regard, instructions have been given that every SHO should carry a megaphone and handcuffs.
The police force has been provided with 6 tear gas guns, 500 shells of tear gas, two 12 bore rifles, 100 rubber bullets and 6 tear gas grenades at each blocking point, along with any personnel armed in the police force. It will be banned. The orders said that the jawans would be armed only with anti-riot equipment.
After deployment of heavy police force across the city, only 2-3 policemen are left in all 32 police stations of Rawalpindi district. In this regard, instructions have been issued to keep the entrance gates of police stations locked.
