Islamabad Police has said that on May 9, rally will not be allowed without permission.
In a statement issued by the Islamabad Police spokesperson, it has been said that Section 144 is in force in the federal capital Islamabad. Protests or rallies against the law and without permission will not be allowed in the city.
He said that anyone who tries to take the law into their hands on May 9 will be dealt with severely. The police will not tolerate disorder and law will be taken against those who violate the law.
It should be noted that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Khan has announced a peaceful protest on May 9. He has also demanded to form a judicial commission related to May 9 incidents. Ticket holders will participate in the PTI protest.
