Famous comedian and TV host Kapil Sharma has finally broken his silence on the controversy, in which he was accused of making racist comments on filmmaker Atlee.
The matter started when the team of the film Baby Jaan appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show. During the show, Kapil Sharma asked Atlee a question that some on social media considered a mockery of his skin color.
Atlee replied to the question, saying, “We should never judge by appearance but by heart.” However, the comment sparked a huge debate on Kapil Sharma’s question. Singer Chinmayi Sripada slammed Kapil, calling it a “racial joke”.
