Karachi: The Sindh High Court has ordered the Deputy Commissioner East to resolve the matter on PTI’s request for a rally in Karachi.
In the High Court, a hearing was held on the petition regarding the permission of PTI to hold a rally. Haleem Adil Sheikh appeared in court along with lawyers.
The Chief Justice asked when do you want to hold a meeting? The petitioner’s lawyer stated that we want to hold a rally on April 28 in Karachi, which is not being allowed. We have also made requests to the concerned DC and administration but permission is not being granted.
The court inquired that what is the objection of Antamiya? The government advocate stated that we are looking into the matter, mutual communication regarding permission is going on.
The court ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Eastern District to resolve the matter within a week. The court directed to inform the court about the decision regarding permission or not.
