Asif Ali, the aggressive batsman of the national cricket team, took the critics by storm for misinterpreting his statement about hitting 300 sixes in a day.
Asif Ali, who is a part of Peshawar Zalmi’s squad in the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), said while talking to the media yesterday, “I don’t run on petrol to hit 300 sixes a day,” the cricketer said. However, during practice in the nets at NCA, I used to hit more than 100 sixes in a day so that I could hit 4 or 5 sixes in a match.
He said that some people misinterpreted my statement and presented it in their own way while taking the critics with open arms.
The aggressive cricketer said that I have been out of the Pakistani team for more than a year, I am working on my shortcomings and will make a comeback in the team soon.
Asif Ali said that “cricket is the name of pressure, I have experience of playing with different teams abroad, but I will perform in a different way in PSL”.
