ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that his party is not interested in taking positions in the federal government and does not include itself in the race for the prime ministership, however, the PML-N is Will vote for the candidate.
In a media briefing at the PPP Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting at Zardari House, Islamabad, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the two-day meeting of the PPP CEC was completed where the domestic and political situation was discussed. The current situation was discussed, the crisis of Pakistan was discussed, the principle decision of Pakistan is that we have to support Pakistan and stabilize the country and get it out of this crisis.
He said that the time has come once again for PPP to raise the slogan of Pakistan Khape. The fact is that PPP does not have the mandate to form a federal government. That is why I am presenting myself as a candidate for the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Not including.
‘The possibility of PTI’s independent candidates to form the government is over’
He said that independent candidates and Muslim League (N) have the most seats in the National Assembly but PTI has announced that they will not negotiate with PPP, hence PTI’s support. The possibility of the government of the winning independent candidates has ended and the Muslim League (N) is left.
He said that Muslim League (N) had invited us to join the government but PPP has decided that we are not in a position to join the federal government and have no intention of taking ministries and we are not in a position to join the federal government. I do not want to see political chaos and do not want crisis in the country.
Bilawal Bhutto said that PTI is not forming the government and Muslim League (N) does not have the required number and if I am not the candidate for the prime minister, then the house will not be able to elect the prime minister, as a result of which we will go back to the elections again. will have to go, which will further exacerbate this political crisis and increase political instability.
He said that its effects will affect the people of the country, who are currently suffering not only from political problems but also from the worst threats of economic and terrorism and the problem of climate change.
He said that the PPP has decided that we have contested the election on a manifesto containing the interest of the people and we want to support various issues on the basis of importance to ensure the restoration of political stability.
“People will get out of problems”
Chairman PPP said that for this it has been decided that we will form a committee so that it will communicate with other political parties, this committee will work for government formation and political stability.
He said that we will try to take Pakistan out of this crisis and take it in the direction that is the right of the people.
He said that our members have discussed many issues in the meeting and discussed issues regarding the friends of Muslim League (N), who have been in the government for 18 months and our colleagues from all provinces have complained that Their work is not done, so the committee will ensure that the objections of the PPP are removed.
‘Remove flaws in election results’
Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, talking about the results of the elections, said that, unfortunately, like in the past, objections were raised in every election like 2018, 2013 and others, our party members raised objections, level playing field, rigging. In the matter of allegations, misconduct, we have decided that evidence should be collected on all complaints.
He said that it was decided that PPP will accept the results of these elections as a protest for the wider interest of the country and political stability of the country, but we would like all the political parties to come together and eliminate these flaws this time so that the upcoming elections I could not lift a finger.
Chairman PPP said that there is a message for the people that in view of the chaos and political instability seen on the TV screens, I assure that the parliament will be formed and the parliament is the forum where your problems can be resolved. will
‘There will be more chaos in case of re-election’
He said that PPP should complete the process of government formation not for itself but for the country, it would bring political stability and the government would run, so that we do not have to go to new elections and once pushed in this regard. Go, resulting in political chaos.

He said that as a result of the election results, I don’t think that any political party will accept these results. Chairman PPP said that the people of Pakistan gave a divided mandate so that no one should be forced to act, but the problems should be solved by talking in the parliament, but it is a pity that despite all this, PTI is still like this. She is making decisions that are not in favor of democracy, saying that we will not talk to anyone, so don’t do it, but why did people vote for you?
He said that a political power is not ready to talk, they talk with other political parties but they have to listen, if they do their work without listening, then do Bismillah, but it will harm Pakistan and democracy. If it happens, there will be a loss of people.
‘Prime Ministry will support government on budget and legislation’
He said that PPP will not take ministries in the government, issue to issue, will support the government on our manifesto and important votes, but our negotiation team will be there, whatever our objections can be resolved.
He said that I do not think that I will be able to become the leader of the opposition.
On another question, he said that we will support the political party without being a part of the ministries, as PDM-2 is being talked about, we will not be a part of the government.
Bilawal Bhutto said that as far as there is a vote for the Prime Minister, we will cooperate issue-to-issue on budget, legislation and PPP will field its candidates on constitutional positions and this is our right because we have fought the elections. Therefore, we will field our candidates for the Presidency, Senate Chairmanship and Speakership.
I want Asif Zardari to be the president of the country.
He said that the decision of the PML-N or any other party’s candidate will be their own, who will be the PPP’s candidates for the constitutional positions will be the party’s decision, but I would like that when the presidential election is held. If the opportunity comes, President Zardari should participate in it and become the President of this country.
