Karachi: Sindh Building Control Authority has set up 24/7 rain emergency centers in view of possible monsoon rains.
According to the details, Rain Emergency Centers have been established in Daftar Annexe Building and Civic Center Gulshan Iqbal on behalf of Sindh Building Control Authority.
In this regard, DGSBCA Abdul Rasheed Solangi said that a contingency plan has been prepared in collaboration with the district administration to deal with any emergency situation in the case of possible monsoon rains.
Abdul Rasheed Solangi said that Deputy Commissioners, Secretary Archives and Culture are in full contact with all relevant institutions to deal with any emergency situation in the expected rains.
All the directors at these rain emergency centers will remain in their respective districts along with their officers during possible rains
The DG of Sindh Building Control Authority said that he is monitoring all the expected situation including Rain Emergency Center.
